Every bar of Junoluv soap is made with all natural ingredients. Each soap contains only true, plant extracts, essential oils, and natural botanicals.
Essential oils are extracted from different parts of a plant, such as flowers, herbs, or roots. The extraction processes, steam distillation or cold extraction, are what creates 100% natural essential oils. Essential oils are not mixed or diluted with any other substances. This purity allows essential oils to retain the health benefits of the plants they are sourced from. Essential oils tend to have a lighter scent when used in soap making. Many essential oils are used for their anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antimicrobial, and pain relief properties.
When buying soap, if the ingredients include the words: fragrance, fragrance oil, perfume, fragrant oil, or parfum then it’s synthetically scented and definitely not all natural (even though the label may state that it’s all natural).
Synthetic fragrances can include all kinds of undisclosed ingredients. Resins, preservatives, and other synthetic ingredients allow the fragrance oils to have stronger scents in candles, soaps and lotions. Fragrance oils are frequently used by soap makers because they are cheaper than essential oils. Synthetic ingredients used in fragrance oils are more likely to cause skin irritation than essential oils.
It is always advisable to read a product’s label before purchasing or using it, especially if you have sensitive skin. To avoid unknown and synthetic ingredients, confirm that all ingredients are listed on the label. And, use only products that contain pure essential oils or other all natural ingredients.
